Experienced Services (ES) Program US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) OPEN POSITION
Location: HADLEY, MA
The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting a Data Entry Clerk position within the Experienced Services Program (ESP) which provides support to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) in Hadley, MA. Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check. FWS ESP positions provide temporary, project-based support.
We are looking for a focused data entry clerk to enter backlog of FWS Realty documents into proprietary data systems. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner and identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
• Read source documents and enter data in specific data fields
• Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
• Store completed documents in appropriate locations defined by FWS
• Select materials needed to complete work assignments
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; possess an AA/HS diploma; 5 years’ experience in clerical, administrative or data entry environment with knowledge of word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. MS Word & Excel experience; must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Part-Time position working 29 hours per week/$20.00 per hour.
