The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a position within the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program which provides support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Cincinnati, OH. Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.

This position requires a wide range of depth and knowledge in the area of Procurement, Records Management, Policy, and Training. This position requires technical executive-level support in a variety of operations and program-specific functions. The candidate should possess demonstrated skills and abilities that include analyzing, researching, evaluating, and training. Assignments of this position involve the full performance of analytical, evaluative, and independent.   • Provide limited training on the use of automated Acquisition systems and applications, such as EAS, BAPS, Compass, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Research and evaluate laws, regulations, and policies to develop various documents and training materials, such as Standard Operating
  • Procedures (SOPs), memorandums, briefings, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Provide advisory services and recommendations on Acquisitions program areas, including maintaining the Division record of coordination with the EPA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization and US Small Business Administration.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the OAS staff.
  • Maintains stocks of CAD consumables such as paper, folders, pens, staples, etc. Processes internal purchase requests for CAD supplies and authorized desk items for CAD personnel.
  • Review actions for quality assurance; identify and assess errors and initiate corrective action.
  • Assist in the closeout process for contracts, purchase/delivery/call orders, and purchase card orders.
  • Develop spreadsheets, assist with various report gathering, review and analyze data for projects as assigned.
  • Prepare and review correspondence such as internal Guidance Memorandums, SOPs, memorandums for the Division Director and Branch Chiefs.
  • Coordinate official travel arrangements (including processing in Concur) primarily for the Division Director, Associate Director, Branch Chiefs, and occasionally other OAS leadership personnel as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the Division Directors and Branch Chief’s Outlook calendars to include, handling meeting logistics, initiate, organize and or schedule video/audio conference calls and daily meetings.
  • Exercise strong Microsoft office processing and related formatting skills in developing and variety of correspondence and other documents pertinent to Acquisitions.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks associated with the onboarding of new personnel, including, but not limited to: maintaining the New Employee Guide; establishing mailboxes, workstation setup, initial travel card processing, etc.
  • Assist with evaluating and uploading documents to SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Monitor designated email boxes within OAS/CAD and respond to or take necessary action.
  • Assist with evaluating and uploading documents to SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Perform office duties to include answering and responding to phone calls, scanning, filing, photocopying, shredding, sorting/distributing/sending mail, preparing packages for overnight mailing and delivery, confirms the delivery, and updates tracking log.
  • Review actions for quality assurance; identify and assess errors and initiate corrective action.
  • Perform research and data gathering as needed to ensure data integrity (FOIA).

Prime candidate are self-starters with strong communication and customer relation skills. Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

Full-Time position working 40 hours per week @ $12.72 per hour, vacation and sick leave.
