Elizabeth Kohm

Elizabeth (Beth) Kohm joined the Center for Workforce Inclusion (formerly Senior Service America, Inc.) in March 2020 as the Vice President for Innovation & Strategic Partnerships. In this new role, Beth is responsible for ensuring support for innovative solutions and engaging strategic partners in the Centers leadership role in workforce development for older Americans.

Beth has experience across nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors with expertise in strategic partnerships that advance programmatic needs and increase organizational impact and visibility. Prior to joining the Center, Beth was the Interim Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director of PFLAG National. In her leadership roles at PFLAG, she oversaw a national network of chapters committed to equality and inclusion. Her nonprofit career has focused on the issues of access, equity, and inclusion. She also worked for Cisco Learning Institute, a public benefit corporation started by Cisco Systems Inc. to expand its philanthropic commitment in low-income and underserved communities. She started her career working as a legislative staff member for the New York State Assembly and has been an appointee on numerous government advisory councils and served in multiple community volunteer roles.

Beth has a B.A. in Political Science from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University of Albany. She currently lives in Alexandria, VA with her partner and two sons.
