Programs That Help Cities Thrive

Without workforce development, economic growth cannot be sustained because the pipeline of trained workers will quickly run out. While the economies of some cities stagnate, other cities are thriving.

These prospering cities foster innovative ecosystems that emphasize elements like workforce development, informed political leadership, education, research centers, and private universities. Each city requires workers trained for the companies and industries specific to that local labor market. There is no “one size fits all” for workforce development – it must be localized.

A city must think like a system and act like an entrepreneur.
