Most workforce development programs targeting older job seekers only provide job search assistance. The Center for Workforce Inclusion provides a full range of services from skill assessment and training to post-placement mentoring. This level of support ensures that our participants are able to obtain and retain meaningful employment.
The unprecedented unemployment in our country is disproportionately impacting low-income, older workers who face numerous barriers to economic empowerment. The Center for Workforce Inclusion understands these unique needs. We create innovative workforce development programs that support economic growth and succeed for the worker, the employer, and the community.
CWI Labs, formerly SSA Community Partners, is an affiliated nonprofit innovation lab. We create new approaches, advance best practices, and tackle the challenge of bringing underserved job seekers back into our workforce.
Doing Great Things Together
When an employer has an employee that is well trained and well equipped to do a great job, the business thrives and so does the community. Together, The Center for Workforce Inclusion and our partner organizations work every day to connect older, low-income job seekers with employers.
