The Center for Workforce Inclusion is committed to bringing economic opportunity to low-income and other disadvantaged older adults. We trace our roots to the National Council of Senior Citizens, launched in 1962 to advocate for older Americans. We are now the only national entity dedicated exclusively to the workforce development needs of underserved workers 50+. Headquartered in Silver Spring, Md., near Washington, D.C., we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headed by President and CEO Gary A. Officer and a board of directors.

Our Mission

Connecting experienced Americans, especially low income and disadvantaged adults, with employers in all 50 states to ensure a vibrant, diverse, and productive workforce.

Our Vision

A world where experienced Americans can apply their talents and actively contribute to society through productive, meaningful work.
