Center for Workforce Inclusion Appoints Diana McFail as Chief of Staff

The Center for Workforce Inclusion (Center) is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana McFail as its new Chief of Staff. With her experience driving social impact and her deep commitment to creating positive change in the lives of older adults, Diana brings a wealth of leadership and strategic expertise to the Center.

“I am delighted to welcome Diana as our new Chief of Staff,” said Gary A. Officer, President & CEO of the Center. “Her impressive track record of driving organizational growth, maximizing operational effectiveness, and fostering inclusive and high-performing cultures makes her an ideal fit for our organization.”

Prior to joining the Center for Workforce Inclusion, Diana served as the President and CEO of NextFifty Initiative, a private foundation dedicated to improving the lives of older adults and their caregivers. As one of the three founding staff members of NextFifty Initiative, Diana’s skills in operations and organizational development were instrumental in the foundation’s growth and success. She played a pivotal role in shaping the foundation’s direction, strategy, and impact and was instrumental in stewarding its $260 million fund, one of the only funds in the U.S. solely dedicated to serving the needs of older adults.

Prior to her work at NextFifty Initiative, Diana held key leadership roles at the InnovAge Foundation, where she played a vital role in raising funds, managing operations, overseeing the volunteer program, and cultivating internal and external partnerships to advance the organization’s mission. Diana holds a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University, along with a BA in both Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado.

As the new Chief of Staff, Diana will leverage her leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional expertise to further the Center for Workforce Inclusion’s mission of empowering older adults through best-in-class workforce development programs.

Her appointment is expected to strengthen the organization’s ability to create lasting impact and expand its reach to new heights. “I look forward to working closely with Diana to make a profound difference in the lives of older adults and create a more equitable and inclusive workforce,” said Mr. Officer.
