A Critical Discussion
To celebrate Older Americans Month, the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) national grantees hosted a Virtual Town Hall. During this critical discussion, our panel addressed challenges facing older job-seekers as they attempt to reenter the workforce and policies to promote an equitable economic recovery. The panel included Gary A. Officer, President & CEO Center for Workforce Inclusion; Marc Morial, President & CEO National Urban League; and Joe Carbone, President & CEO The Workplace. The discussion was moderated by Terry Owens, an award-winning broadcast journalist and 30-year veteran of the communications industry, including 17 years as a television news anchor, reporter and public affairs show host at the ABC affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland.
